A 900-Years Old Connection to Hindu Temples & the Chola Dynasty
I love Hindu temples but I was not expecting a 900 years old connection. This makes for an interesting read of connecting the dots of my soul’s journey during several lifetimes. Let’s start with an akashic reading.
Akashic Readings by a Child Saint
A balasanth, child saint, of the Kailasa Order near Bengaluru, India, was reading the Akashic Records for me earlier in 2018. Akashic Records are in the ether and comprise past, present and future events of everyone’s life. These records are accessible through special initiation by HDH Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam and being in Oneness with him.
One day I ventured to ask about my past connection to India. Around 1100 AD I was one of the daughters, named Padmavati, of the Raja Raja Chola II King in what is now known as Tamil Nadu in South India. The Chola dynasty built temples during their reign, huge monuments of their devotion.
Here is what Wikipedia has to say about Chola Temples. “The Great Living Chola Temples is a UNESCO World Heritage Site designation for a group of Chola dynasty era Hindu temples in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Completed between early 11th and the 12th century CE, the monuments include the Brihadisvara Temple at Thanjavur, the Temple of Gangaikonda Cholapuram and the Airavatesvara Temple at Darasuram (as seen above).”
Significant is that during that time I was designing temple layouts for Hindu temples some of which are still standing like the Trilokottai Kali Temple in Tamil Nadu (Trilokottai – Mother of the three worlds).
This was a big aha moment. It explained why I always loved India’s ancient temples with its mantra chanting and homa fire ceremonies by the Hindu priests.
I asked the balasanth to tell me more about it. She said that the intelligence of temple layout skills is still in my bio memory or DNA. Next I asked if there is still any use for it today and how it can be revived? She answered that it is possible through the 3rd eye, and perceive how Vishwakarma, the divine architect, did temple layouts and yes, it is useful for all USA temples.
That was an incredible akashic reading about my Vedic past. It was not the beginning but added the dots.
The Temple Priestess
Between 2007 and 2013 I was volunteering for about 4 to 5 years as a priestess at our Nithyananda Hindu Temple in Arizona. I did puja worship, naivedyam food offerings, abishekam bath and alankar clothing especially for Lord Venkateshwara whose original temple is in Tirupati, Andrah Pradesh, which I later visited while in India. During this time just by being in this powerful energy field and sacred environment performing temple rituals I experienced the beginnings of kundalini awakening and consciousness raising. This is the greatest benefit of temple seva. Going back into my past makes it clear now why I was engaged in this particular volunteer work.
Palm Leaf Readings at a Nadi Reader in Puducherry
In 2013 while traveling in India I went to visit a Nadi Reader. This is a person who has ancient palm leaves of akashic records originally seen and noted down by seers thousands of years ago. These palm leaves copied down are still in existence. They are written in ancient Tamil that the nadi reader is able to read and translate into English. Interestingly the nadi reader first told me about being the daughter of a chola king which the balasanth verified. The nadi reader said that I will be visiting more than 100 temples mostly in Tamil Nadu and that I should keep my feet in Shiva Temples. Others will follow my path and I will visit temples with them. I also had past relations with Agasthya, all rishis, and did pujas to those rishis. In this birth I will have visions again of Agasthya and hear voices and chanting of the rishis.
My Bindu Art and the Sri Yantra
It also dawned on me that my previous temple layout skills are the reason why I favor creating geometrical art and my connection to the Sri Yantra, a 2-D geometrical construction of the DNA of the cosmos. Most of my acrylic paintings have a central focal point or dot called Bindu. The bindu is found in the Sri Yantra, an expression of highest consciousness, and is viewed as Guru or in mother worship as Divine Mother herself. In my acrylic paintings I use the Bindu as focal point for meditation and also for healing.
