International Day of Peace

Shanti or peace is inherent in all living beings, yet unfortunately, there are still far too many people and places in the world that act contrary to this truth due to their egos. Instead we should strive to battle our own inner demons, or our unfinished business, our incompletions, through a scientific and meditative approach; this will allow us to find inner peace. To honor the International Day of Peace, there are many spiritual practices which we can do.

Chanting: Today we chanted for 2 hours a mantra that connects us with the Creator within us to increase the vibration of peace in our heart and on this planet.

Satsang: At the afternoon satsang by the SPH Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam, he revealed that the intention and focus of the universe as set by the creator Paramashiva is Sanatana Hindu Dharma. Shanti or peace is the purpose, goal, and intention of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. To achieve this, we can practice the Nirvikalpa Samadhi or unclutching technique. Shanti is the culture of consciousness and the more inner peace we have, the more we will attract peace around us. However, if we digress, we will experience less peace.

Prayers: A beautiful peace prayer by the BAPS community is seen in the below video.

OM Shanti Shanti Shantihi – May peace prevail everywhere.
